Never Ending Life.
A Person can be a history by his contributions and achievements, but some turns history to roll up and come to them. Those people are soul of the creative lands. We have seen many poets and writers making a history but today I am elaborating a personality with the delightful heart. Who was the teacher of my grandfather and as well as he taught my father too, he is still alive and teaching the students. This man is 82 years old and known as “Marham”.
His uniqueness is everlasting struggle and a true dedication towards the literature. He talks loud on phone you will feel he’s very rude but when I sat with him he was very kind. He can softly and easily interpret the Persian poetry of Rumi. This will make wonder how can a person of this age remember the poetry of different languages. When he spoke up about his love for the poetry, He also talked about his love for a beauty of woman.
Life is unpredictable. Sometimes a person’s age becomes a circle of time limit and some stay and become an example for the descendants. For me Muhammad Siddique Marham is that person. His close friends told me that he loved a lady but never proposed her and this could be the reason behind his attachment to Mirza Ghalib’s poetry. How strange it is, that a person started teaching when he only passed exam of 7th standard. Well, he was the only student among the class who has been able to pass the exam of final in 1952. The mind is puzzling at a point that a person who is 82 years old can walk without a stick and he’s able to teach more than 100 students in a day.
He still remembers the Persian poetry. He easily interpret Mirza Ghalib, Faiz Ahmed faiz, Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, Allama Iqbal, Maulvi Haji Ahmed Mallah and so many other poets from different languages of east.
Many people are living in the world for a reason, the reason can be a specific target and goal or for the big bank accounts but Muhammad Siddique thinks that the reason behind his strong stamina in the age of pre decade is might be the publication of his book. He cannot afford to publish it, well actually the book is about the different characters of Sufis.
He himself is a kindest Sufi but simultaneously he is against from the fact, that a person in the route of seeking the absolute truth but not following the basic principles of Deen. Muhammad Siddique loves the beauty of a lady without having the bad intention for a woman, he has a body language similar like Sufi but write against them. Muhammad Siddique’s inspiration is Allama Iqbal and his favorite poetry is “Kabhi aye haqeeqat e muntazir nazar aa libas-e-mijaaz main ka hazaron sajood e tarap rahe meri ek jabeen-e-niaz main”
Some days ago I went to meet him, his skin was so tired of life and his welcome voice was same as an aged person sound, but his courage and a perspective for life is like a young blood. Although Respected Marham is very tired of life but never want to die he said I never know how to swim in my childhood days some of my friends took me to the lake and told me to jump in the water, he jumped but never wished to swim again. Muhammad Siddique is from the descendants of a fishermen’s family and never learned swimming.
